How TechSphere collects, uses, and protects your personal information.

TechSphere ("we," "us," "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website (techsphereapp.com) and our mobile applications: OwoTrack, HeartLink, and FixNG (collectively, "Services").

By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and password when you register.
  • Profile Information: Profile photos, date of birth, location (city/state), and preferences you provide.
  • Business Data (OwoTrack): Transaction records, invoice data, customer information, and business analytics you enter into the app. This data belongs to you and is never sold.
  • Usage Data: App usage patterns, features accessed, device type, operating system, and crash reports.
  • Location Data: Approximate location to match you with nearby services (FixNG) or users (HeartLink). Precise GPS is only collected with your explicit permission.
  • Payment Information: We use Flutterwave and other PCI-compliant processors. We do not store your card details on our servers.
  • Communication Data: Messages sent through our in-app messaging systems. We may review communications flagged as inappropriate.
  • Device Information: Device ID, IP address, browser type, and operating system for security and analytics purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain our Services
  • Create and manage your account
  • Process transactions and send receipts
  • Send you important notifications about your account or our Services
  • Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries
  • Improve our products through analytics and user feedback
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Send marketing communications (with your consent — you can opt out anytime)

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, user data may be transferred as a business asset.
  • With Your Consent: We may share information for other purposes with your explicit consent.

Your data is stored on secure cloud servers with industry-standard encryption (AES-256). We implement multiple layers of security including:

  • Two-factor authentication for staff access

While we implement strong security measures, no system is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users within 72 hours as required by applicable law.

6. Your Rights & Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data ("right to be forgotten").

  • Opt-Out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link or app settings.
  • Object: Object to certain types of data processing.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our Services. Business data in OwoTrack is retained for 5 years to comply with financial record-keeping requirements. After account deletion, residual data may remain in backups for up to 90 days before being permanently deleted.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not intended for children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor without parental consent, we will delete it immediately. 9. HeartLink-Specific Privacy

HeartLink collects additional data including personality assessment responses, relationship preferences, and (optionally) voice/video for verification. This data is used solely to improve match quality. Profile photos are reviewed by our team for verification purposes. Users can request deletion of their matching data at any time.

10. OwoTrack-Specific Privacy

Your business financial data entered into OwoTrack belongs entirely to you. We do not access, analyze, or share your business data except to provide the service. Business data is never used for advertising or sold to third parties. You can export all your data at any time from Settings → Export Data.

11. Third-Party Services

Our Services integrate with third-party services including Flutterwave (payments), Twilio (SMS), Google Analytics (analytics), and Firebase (infrastructure). These services have their own privacy policies. By using our Services, you acknowledge their respective policies apply to your interactions with those services.

12. International Data Transfers

Your information may be stored and processed in Nigeria and other countries where our service providers operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

13. Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your experience. You can control cookie settings through your browser. We use:

  • Essential Cookies: Required for the website to function
